Foundation / Corporation
In-kind grants of native seedlings and trees for planting to Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming nonprofits and governmental entities. Funding is intended to provide habitat for wildlife, beautify neighborhoods, and help to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.
This program covers the cost of the trees and includes free delivery to the recipient’s chosen location. It is the responsibility of the grant recipient to plant and care for the trees.
Tree varieties requested must be native to the growing area. Requests can be made for sizes varying from bare-root seedlings up to five-gallon containers.
It is of great importance to Apache Corporation that grant recipients do what they can to ensure the trees have the best chance of survival. If your request for trees is approved, they ask for your organization’s commitment to take care of the trees and ensure their survival to the best of your abilities.
