Thrift as a thrift-powered community resource hub supporting housing stability, emergency needs, essential goods access, and circular-economy reuse in Miami-Dade County.

Funding needs

Grant funds will support the launch and operation of O.M. Thrift, Giving Blooms’ circular-economy thrift and community resource hub. Funds may be used for rent, utilities, retail fixtures, shelving, clothing racks, storage bins, sorting and bagging supplies, donation collection materials, signage, point-of-sale equipment, basic technology, insurance, outreach materials, transportation support, and staffing or contractor support. The hub will help Giving Blooms accept bulk donations, redistribute essential goods, generate earned revenue, and reinvest resources into housing stability, emergency support, referrals, and community programming.
