Oklahoma Electric Cooperative (OEC) Foundation
Grants to Central Oklahoma individuals and families in need, and to organizations for programs that seek to improve the quality of life in the area. For the purposes of these grants, this area includes Cleveland County, and portions of Oklahoma, Grady, McClain, Canadian, Caddo, and Pottawatomie Counties.

Individuals need not be co-op members to receive a grant from the OEC Foundation, but do have to reside in the co-op's service area to apply. Likewise, organizations must provide services to individuals within the co-op's boundaries.
Grants are not awarded for payment of utility or other bills, for political purposes, rent or mortgage payments, or Christmas gifts.
The service area includes all of Cleveland County, and portions of Oklahoma, Grady, McClain, Canadian, Caddo, and Pottawatomie Counties.

The OEC Foundation board meets every six to eight weeks to review and act on grant requests. Those seeking a grant must submit an application a minimum of ten days before a scheduled meeting.
Applicants will be notified by mail of the board's decision regarding their request. Notification may take up to a week following the meeting.
